Sanders Pharmacy is named after Bill Sanders, the local pharmacist (and horse trainer extraordinaire) who founded the pharmacy way back in 1953, making us Te Awamutu's oldest chemist.
Current owner, Gemma Waterhouse-Perry, became Sanders Pharmacy's fourth owner in 2010. In 2012, Sander Pharmacy moved from its original main street location to the Te Awamutu Mega Centre Complex next to Mahoe Med, a move which has meant a bigger store and longer opening hours.
The faces and location may have changed but our commitment to providing the Te Awamutu community with top-notch healthcare remains the same. Oh, and the name! But enough about us—we want to know how we can help you.

Our Opening Hours
Sanders Pharmacy is open for extended hours, every day of the week to ensure that our customers can call in for their health and beauty needs when it is most convenient.
Sat & Sun + Public Holidays: 9:00AM to 3:00PM
Mon to Fri: 8:30AM to 7:00PM
Please note, an afterhours fee of $3 per prescription item applies from 6pm and on Public Holidays.
